House removals in London
A London house move is never one thing — a mansion flat off the King’s Road, a Victorian terrace in Walthamstow, a semi in Barnet, a new-build tower by the river. We’re the city-wide firm that brings the right plan for the address in front of us, and packs, protects and carries your home like it’s ours.
We move households right across Greater London — from the period streets of the centre to the suburban edges. Whatever the property, the promise is the same: a crew that turns up on time, wraps your furniture properly, protects the floors and the banisters, and gets the day done without drama. As a London removals company that works the whole city, we bring the access knowledge that a move here actually needs.
What a house move with us looks like
It starts with an honest look at the job — usually a quick video walk-round or a visit — so the quote is based on what you’re really moving, not a guess. On the day, we wrap and protect, load in a sensible order, and take the same care unloading at the other end. Boxes go to the right rooms, beds get rebuilt if you’d like, and we don’t leave until you’re happy.
- Full or part packing, or supply of materials if you’d rather do your own
- Furniture dismantling and reassembly — beds, wardrobes, the awkward flat-pack
- Floor and doorway protection, and careful handling of banisters and paintwork
- Parking suspensions, ULEZ-compliant vehicles and access timing arranged in advance
London houses, and how they move
The city is a real mix, and each part moves differently. Central and period property means small lifts, narrow stairwells and portered blocks with strict move-in windows. The suburbs bring drives and space but longer staircases. Estates and new-builds mean booking-only goods lifts and loading-bay time slots. Reading those differences before the day is exactly what a city-wide mover is for. See our London coverage for the regions we work.
More than the move itself
Need somewhere to put things between homes? We offer packing and secure storage across London. Moving something smaller than a whole house? A man-and-van job might fit better. Relocating a business? See business removals. And if the move is heading abroad, we can carry it into Europe too.
Moving house in London
Do you do house removals across all of London?
Yes — every borough, north to south and east to west. Period conversions, mansion flats, suburban semis, estates and new-builds all included. Tell us the postcodes and we’ll confirm.
Can you handle a move in a mansion block or period building?
That’s much of central London. Small original lifts, narrow period stairwells, portered blocks with move-in rules and permit parking all shape the job — we survey the access at both ends and plan the carry and protection before the day.
Do you pack as well as move?
Full packing, part packing (just the kitchen and the fragile bits), or a supply of proper materials if you’d rather do your own. We wrap furniture and box glass and china carefully either way.
How do you handle ULEZ and the congestion charge?
They’re part of a London move, and we plan around them — the right compliant vehicle for the zone, and the charges and access factored into the plan rather than sprung on you later.
Do you move houses out of London too?
Yes — across the UK and into Europe. Plenty of London house moves head out to the Home Counties or further, and we run road moves from London to France, Spain, Germany and Italy as well.
